Tortuguero Hill

Without a doubt offering the best view of the Costa Rican Caribbean, Tortuguero Hill is the highest elevation of the entire Caribbean coast and its viewpoint leaves speechless and in total awe those who reach it. This tour is one of the most complete you can do in Tortuguero, with a visit to the town of San Francisco which is where this Hill is located, traveling there through the Penitencia Lagoon and returning through the Tortuguero Lagoon, but not before completing the Tortuguero Hill trail which is located a bit before starting to climb the steps; once said walk is done, you proceed to climb to the viewpoint where the main attraction awaits, then go down and get to know the mouth of the Tortuguero river; later, you proceed to visit the town of San Francisco, where in addition to getting to know it, you can have an interesting contrast with Tortuguero village, since this place has less tourist development and looks somewhat similar to the Tortuguero of the past, meaning that this can even be perceived as a more authentic and cozy place at times.
