He was known and is remembered as one of the most experienced guides in Tortuguero, with extensive knowledge and remarkable professionalism throughout his career as a tour guide. Currently, his legacy continues stronger than ever in the hands of his son Luis Manuel, who has been running the business since 2014 and is now the owner of Don Chico Tours.
